Yohimbine is an active ingredient found in Yohimbe bark and is cultivated as an extract. Yohimbine dilates the blood
vessels and can lower blood pressure. It is regarded as a powerful antioxidant that can prevent heart attacks, act as
a stimulant, anti-depressant, and can significantly aid in weight loss.
Yohimbine is extensively used as a prescription drug to treat erectile dysfunction. Yohimbe and other alkaloids in the
bark extract are said to block specific receptors that actually inhibit fat loss. Other studies have found that yohimbine
can increase the amount of non-esterified fatty acids as a result of fat breaking down.
Although yohimbine has proven to have enormous fat burning benefits, it is solely approved for the treatment of
impotence. For erectile dysfunction, dosages of 5.4 to 10 milligrams three times daily. Side-effects of yohimbine
could include a drop your blood pressure, cause dizziness, facial flushing and nausea. Yohimbine may also increase
heart rate and raise blood pressure.
